Pantry On The Go 2025

Visit our Corps or Service Centers for fresh groceries. Dates are listed below.

The Salvation Army of Central Maryland and the Maryland Food Bank are working together to expand a shared mission to feed hungry Marylanders. Pantry on the Go works with our corps and service centers to provide large amounts of nutritious food directly to people in need. The mobile pantry acts as a substitute stationary food pantry for different parts of Maryland that have little access to food.

Pantry on The Go bridges a relationship between farms and the Maryland Food Bank program to provide more than 6,000 pounds of produce and/or non-perishable foods. Thanks to this partnership, The Salvation Army of Central Maryland can feed over 200 families per Pantry on the Go Event.

This program also allows people who are short on cash, living paycheck to paycheck, and who are unemployed an opportunity to receive produce while it’s fresh. Transportation barriers are removed for folks who live in the suburbs or urban area. Areas that are packed with food desserts can benefit from Pantry on the Go. Food deserts are areas that lack access to fresh produce due to availability and cost.

If you live in Baltimore County, Glen Burnie, Howard County or Carroll County, The Salvation Army of Central Maryland has a listing of Pantry on the Go dates from January until November 2023 depending on the location.

Harford/Cecil County

The Salvation Army Havre De Grace Corps

300 Seneca Ave, Havre De Grace, MD 21078

Drive-thru Pantry open every Thursday in November from 11:00am - 2:00pm.
Clients can drive up anytime between 11am-2pm, no appointment is needed.
Need to bring a photo ID. Must be a Harford/Cecil County resident.

Pantry open every Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00am-2:00pm.
No appointment needed during pantry hours. Emergency cases outside of pantry hours must be scheduled by appointment only.

Drive-Thru Pantry open every Wednesday from 9:00am-12:00pm.
Must fill out request form online to reserve a box; Emergency cases outside of pantry hours need to be scheduled by appointment only.
Need to bring a photo ID.

If possible, NEED an online pantry request form as main source of pantry communication.
Glen Burnie and Hampden requests can be transferred to warehouse pantry, as well.
