MEET KYREE, FIRST TIME SUMMER CAMPER
Kyree, a boys and girls club member, loves to learn STEM-related courses and go on Youtube in his spare time. He’s also introverted due to his thirst for knowledge. His mom sent him to camp to push him outside of his comfort zone and to also introduce him into making more friends.
Sending a child to camp for the first-time is always a life-changing experience. For Boys and Girls club member Kyree, age 8, Camp Happyland was where he learned to be self-reliant for an entire week, enhance his social skills, learn to swim, played sports such as football and archery, and rode a boat for the first time in his entire life.
“The swimming pool is pretty fun because you can play with all of your friends. I was able to meet new people and try different activities too. Camp also has good food and a lot of things to do, overall,” said Kyree.
Sending a child to camp is giving love beyond the bell.
