REGIONAL MUSIC COORDINATOR

The Regional Music Coordinator will organize, develop, and coordinate corps music and creative arts programs for the Corps within the Central Maryland Area Command. Daily duties will vary from corps to corps as necessary but will include conducting weekly rehearsals, teaching private and group lessons, providing ministry/performance opportunities, conducting corps music-leader training, planning, and conducting regional music and arts events. Music Coordinator will also assist in writing grant proposals and soliciting donations, recruiting volunteers, establishing partnerships with local colleges, universities, and arts organizations, supervising staff of volunteers, aiding, and participating in the Divisional Music & Arts program as approved by the Area Commander in advance.

BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB BRANCH MANAGER

Directs and manages the overall daily operations of a branch/unit under the control of the organization with the primary concern for a comprehensive, outcome-driven program and service delivery, supervision, and training of staff (direct and indirect reports), personnel issues, management of a facility, manage a budget, actively engage, and support a Unit Advisory Council, community relations, volunteers, and membership administration. Represents the Club in the community and builds a professional and positive image of The Salvation Army implementing program services that advance the mission of The Salvation Army.

SURVIVOR SUPPORT WORKER (residential services)

Catherine’s Cottage is a Salvation Army program that provides safe housing, intensive case management, and other wrap-around services to adult female-identifying survivors of human trafficking, including both sex trafficking and labor trafficking. Direct services are provided based on a trauma-informed, strengths-based, person-centered, and survivor-informed approach. Catherine’s Cottage is the only housing program in the area focused exclusively on adults who have experienced human trafficking.

The Survivor Support Worker (SSW) will function as a case worker/victim advocate to support comprehensive culturally appropriate case management services to survivors of human trafficking. The position will support survivors in restoring dignity, choice, safety, and self-agency to continue on a path toward self-sufficiency through intensive, goals-focused case management. This position will coordinate with the Case Manager to implement client-focused case management and other services provided to trafficking survivors who are clients of The Salvation Army. The position provides direct services to survivors, including case management, victim/survivor advocacy, and linkages with other services through referrals and serves as a liaison for the program.

The position will work in alignment with the philosophy, policies, procedures of the program and The Salvation Army and the Social Services Code of Ethics.

PROGRAM DIRECTOR (residential services)

The Program Director is responsible for leadership, oversight, and direction of the Anti-Human Trafficking program.The incumbent will develop the program’s short and long term objectives and goals. In collaboration with the Development team, will research, write, and manage federal/state grants to ensure fundraising goals are met; represents The Salvation Army to federal/state/city agencies and partner agencies; serves as liaison on the topics of human trafficking; analyzes and advocates federal/regional legislative policy changes; serves as advocate for prevention of human trafficking; keeps abreast of current developments and legislative changes regarding human trafficking issues; serves as a member of various outside coalitions; obtains and maintains professional relationships with all contacts applying the principles of and ensuring the best interest of The Salvation Army and its mission.

PROGRAM COORDINATOR - GLEN BURNIE BGC

Coordinates the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of specific program(s) for youth between the ages of 6 and 18, within a designated Club. Provides leadership and supervision to assigned program and volunteer staff and controls expenses as assigned. Plans activities and facilitates programs for groups of youth in assigned specific program areas. (STEM, STEAM, Art, Sports/Athletics. Aquatics, Education.) Other duties include writing program reports, supervising youth, transporting youth in Club vehicles and maintaining a professional relationship with all Club members and their families.
