The Salvation Army of Central Maryland is having a back-to-school drive to help St. Luke United Methodist Church located in Sandtown-Winchester, provide over 100 school bags (with school supplies) for children going from Kindergarten to 9th grade. The school supplies that we need are:

1.) Loose Leaf Paper
2.) Composition Notebooks
3.) Pencils
4.) Erasers
5.) Backpacks (Brand new)
6). Glue
7.) Crayons

8.) Binders
9.) Scissors for kids
10.) Erasers
11.) Pens & Pencil pouch
12.) Rulers
13.) Calculators

Each backpack will have the aforementioned school supplies to ensure each student has a successful year going back to school. When a student doesn't have (or cannot afford) all necessary school supplies that not only affects their confidence but also affects their ability to excel in school. The Salvation Army wants to ensure students have a fair chance at doing their best in the new school year.

Our Back-to-School Drive for St. Luke United Methodist Church is running between July 21 through August 25th. All donated backpacks (with school supplies) can be dropped off between Monday and Friday from 9 am through 3:30 p.m. at:
